Meet the Crew

  • Mandy Harmon

    DIRECTOR

    Mandy Harmon is a film director, ADDY and AAF award-winning creative director, and CINTIMA-trained intimacy coordinator.

    She makes documentaries about menstruation and disability, and coming-of-all-ages surreal dramedy films. Her recent documentary, Just Your ( . ), was an official selection of Doc Boston and Desertscape Festivals. Her work is often queer, absurd, and darkly comedic. Artistically, she challenges into curiosity, creates in community, and nature is her ultimate muse. 

  • Devin Jones

    PRODUCER

    Devin Jones is a writer, producer, and poet with a passion for storytelling in all its forms.

    Raised in rural Texas, and graduate of the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors in Radio, Television, and Film with several years in the film industry in both assistant and in producing roles. His works include: producing, writing, and assistant directing a foreign language pilot titled Butterfly Knot, his time as an assistant on 1923, his undergraduate thesis film following a shapeshifter titled Clay, and all of the works he has gotten to make with his friends.

  • Abi Nelson Hunsaker

    PRODUCER

    Raised in offbeat Utah’s rich filmmaking culture, Abi loves unconventional storytelling. As the Head of Development for Sorø Films, Abi worked with companies like Buzzfeed Studios, PBS, and NEON on the production and distribution of Sorø's titles which played at Sundance, SXSW, and Full Frame. Now as Creative Director for Adrenaline Films, she oversees their original content— with an emphasis on stories that build community, make people laugh, and give voice to those who need it.

  • J. Manzo

    PRODUCER

    Born in Mexico City, J. Manzo is a filmmaker and educator working at the intersection of transgressive narratives, religious dread, and Latin American folklore. He holds a BA in Media Arts, is an MFA candidate at UT Austin, and mentors underrepresented young filmmakers at nonprofit organizations.

  • Tori McCarthy

    CINEMATOGRAPHER

    Tori’s a New York-born, Austin-based director and cinematographer with a decade of experience in everything from music videos to docs. Her work’s been featured on PBS, ESPN, and in top film festivals, and she’s always pushing to tell bold, authentic stories.
